Thank you for visiting the website for St. Mary's C.E. Middle School. We are a 9-13 middle school situated on the outskirts of Puddletown, a small village in the beautiful Dorset countryside. We are a church school with an ethos built on the core Christian values of respect, forgiveness, justice, uniqueness, equality, acceptance and kindness.
We look to inspire our school community and give them the tools to thrive in the modern world, summed up by our school aim of 'Inspire today to shape tomorrow'. We are proud to have been assessed as an outstanding church school in our last two Church of England inspections. We expect the highest standards in both academic work and behaviour and we place our children at the centre of everything we do.
The pupils, staff and governors are very proud of our school and we hope that this website will allow you to see why. We look forward to having the opportunity to meet you in person.
We have really enjoyed having you as part of St. Mary's school for the last four years. It has been a privilege to see you grow and change as you have moved through the school and this is your chance to look back over the journey. We hope that you enjoy this video (and hopefully there are not too many tears). Click HERE to see the video.
Check back here at 6pm for your virtual end of year awards assembly. We hope that you enjoy the video as it marks the start of the events of your final week as a middle school pupil. This nearly didn't happen - a huge computer failure on Thursday wiped the whole event and corrupted the back-up copy and so we needed to start from scratch to put it together again to meet the launch tonight. A huge thank you to the four pupil hosts who actually came back into school yesterday (on a Saturday afternoon) to reshoot all of the links again! We think the results were worth it.
Finally, the link has worked and it is live! Click HERE to go to the video. Sorry for the delay but better late than never! As before, please can you keep the results a secret from people who have not seen it tonight. Hope it was worth the wait!!!
Click here to download video if you would like to keep a copy forthe future.
