Childcare Vouchers and School Trips

You are not able to use childcare vouchers towards the cost of school trips during the schools day or for residential trips.  These vouchers are only allowed to be used for qualifying childcare which is registered and approved.  School residential trips do not qualify as registered or approved childcare because they occur outside of the school premises.  Vouchers can be used to pay for approved childcare on school premises, provided it is outside of school hours for children who have reacher compulsory school age.
